We are looking for a highly motivated individual to fill a critical analytical role in our Consulting Practice. In this role, you will actively participate in maintaining and building client consulting engagements, by utilizing business intelligence tools to evaluate consumer dynamics within and across lines of business. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse, extremely talented team comprised of Marketing and Sales experts from a wide range of backgrounds while working with senior-level Fortune 500 consumer marketers to address strategic opportunities within Marketing and Sales.
Skill-set requirements include:
" Ten to fifteen years experience in Consumer Packaged Goods Consulting or market research/information management function (in supplier or manufacturer roles) Experience using analytics to guide business strategies on established brands or new product development " Development and use of concepts and best practices in the areas of competitive frame identification, brand positionings for optimal benefits and needs in the market, segments to targeto Understanding of modeling approaches for response analysis for planning and forecasting applications in the area of overall marketing mix, and specific elements of advertising, consumer and trade " Exceptional leadership, persuasive, communication, presentation, project management, client management and analytical skills " Self-directed leader capable of setting long-term project objectives, leading projects and ensuring successful project delivery " Ability to draw and integrate strategic insights from syndicated (scanner; household panel) and custom information sources to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of key strategies " Ability to create thought leadership with innovative approaches and outcomes on client issues " Working knowledge of Mixed Modeling or advanced Regression techniques " Expertise in consumer research and marketing concepts for brand positioning and new products to collaborate / lead client research as needed " Hands-on work ethic and project management skills. Individual should be proficient with SPSS, Excel, Powerpoint, and other related tools for basic business analysis and reporting
Education:
Masters/PhD Level in Business, Market Research, or Psychology
Reporting Relationships:Direct line responsibility to a Marketing Practice Leader/PartnerWorks with 1-2 peers with primarily Marketing backgroundSupervises 2 experienced professionals on projects (Company also utilizes other resources outside the company on as needed basis) Indirectly liasons with other members of xxx - with Sales Practice who service the clients in key applications required to implement the strategies identified in early stages, with Partner in charge of service development and select emerging clients.
