Job Description

This position will report to the SVP, Solutions Architect in NY. Responsibilities include overseeing analytic insights and strategic thinking across client engagements and leading efforts to analyze marketing campaigns across multiple channels.  This position supervises the team of analysts and works with CMOs and other senior clients; MD and Business Development leads within the RAPP network; and Function Leads in NY Office.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities of VP, Group Analytics Director

·         Drive the design and development of program and predictive analytic solutions. 

·         Lead clients in defining program analytics strategy, vision, and infrastructure needs to support business objectives and drive client decision making.

·         Lead the development of clients’ media and web strategies and reporting of key business metrics.

·         Manage the design and generation of reporting frameworks that provide insight to the performance of clients’ marketing programs.

·         Lead new client acquisition and new business pitches.  Expand the business by identifying new opportunities for measurement, research and analytics within existing client accounts and establishing relationships with prospective clients.

·         Oversee staff development plans for direct reports, provide feedback and performance evaluations.  Foster a team environment and participate in the hiring of new staff.  Provide methodological support, coaching, and training to department staff.

·         Identify, scope, propose, and manage the analysis and interpretation of clients' internal and external data to support business decision-making.

·         Create and develop analytical plans and strategies to improve the effectiveness of marketing actions.

·         Provide statistical and sampling consultancy for agency marketing and strategic planning personnel.

·         Perform statistical data analysis and modeling.

Minimum Qualifications

·         Strong technical project management experience for the development of efficient operational program analytics solutions.

·         Quantitative background (preferred advanced degree in Statistics, Social Science Research, Economics, Quantitative Marketing)

·         Strong analytical skills with solid foundation in statistical techniques. (e.g. MANOVA, multiple regression analysis, logistic regression analysis, correspondence analysis, conjoint analysis, cluster analysis, factor analysis and CHAID, etc.), or similar skills in strategic business management

·         Experience in leading data analysts preferred.

·         Working knowledge of SAS, SPSS and/or SQL

·         Experience in conducting and managing digital analytics required.

  • Direct Marketing experience.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.

·         Proven ability to communicate complex, technical concepts to marketing staff.
