The Apple Information and Technology System group is looking for an Information System Engineer to implement and support several finance applications at Apple. The initial focus will be the implementation and support of Hyperion Financial Management Systems (HFM and FDM). This is an exciting position demanding a strong background in both functional and technical areas. Summary of the position As an Info System Engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing support of several projects. You will be participating in the business process design, offering technical and functional advice during the design and implementation phases of the HFM and FDM tools, and contributing to the configuration and testing of the system to meet the business needs.
Key Responsibilities Analyze business requirements Create System Architecture and Interface design Work with cross functional teams, business partners, and vendors for all aspects of the solution implementation Drive the installation and configuration of the solution Develop financial reports Conduct Application testing and User Acceptance testing Deploy system to the production Provide ongoing support for the application
Required Experience: Strong knowledge of finance especially in the area of financial accounting Strong experience in designing, building, configuring, and testing of the application based on Hyperion HFM and FDM tools Experienced in installing the HFM and FDM tools At least 8 years of combined experience in the field of technology implementation and finance Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills
Education: BS ME/EE/CE degree or equivalent
Preferred Experience working with SAP ERP system Hyperion Planning |
