Purpose/Summary:
Support the company activity through independent analysis, reporting, policy recommendation, and the development and production of metrics. The BI Technical Analyst will be responsible for developing logic to query, organize, report and analyze data for the customer. The position focuses on technical reporting, analytics as well as communication.
General Duties/Essential Functions:

- Produces metrics and reports to give management insight into company performance
- Performs analysis on origination and servicing performance, contract compliance, operational effectiveness, etc.
- Documents analysis for Business Intelligence analysts and condenses conclusions for executive management
- Implements recommendations by working directly with customers
- Performs testing on new initiatives and current processes
- Demonstrate IT disciplines in development processes
- Significant experience with large amounts of information
Background Requirements:
(Education, training, and work experience necessary for a person to possess to be successful)
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Information Technology related field preferred – Computer Science, Mathematics, etc…)
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence processes and best practices
- SQL experience – query performance and optimization
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing and relational databases best practices
- BASE SAS and SAS Macro programming highly preferred
- Knowledge of technical and business processes
