We are seeking a Test Engineer for a position in Rockville, MD. Position will be a 3-month contract with a potential to convert permanently.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Ability to test systems by developing test cases and using pre-determined test scripts.
- Ability to understand the test cycle, test plans and detailed test results reporting.
- Able to effectively work under supervision with diverse organizations and personalities to support a successful test program.
- Must have a general understanding of test methodologies.
- Able to support test program manager for routine components of test programs.
- Able to clearly write test procedure documents and test results.
- Able to conduct supervised analysis efforts to dissect output data, provide results and recommendations.
- Able to assess systems performance against stated requirements. Ability to run and modify test automation scripts using Quick Test Pro.

Essential Skills: The Must Haves
- Experience with Quality Center and WinRunner (or other automated test tools) and Quick Test Pro
- MS Office experience Word and Excel
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Must have 4 - 6 years of experience in computer software development with the majority of time spent in a testing or QA role
- Must have 4 - 6 years of software testing experience (Integration and acceptance)
- Must have 4 years of experience in computer software development

Preferred Skills: The Nice to Haves
- Experience with government contracts and ideally FDA
- Certified Quality Analyst or similar certification

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
