Job Description
Business analysts define and document business requirements. Typically, a project will include a group of Full time business analysts with experience in defining requirements for software projects, who will draw on part time or Full time subject matter experts as necessary. Business analysts serve as a critical link between end-users and the configuration and integration developers, who may be unfamiliar with the business requirements. They should be familiar with the process of documenting software requirements and working on a software project. The BA will engage subject matter experts in order to solicit and confirm requirements and will work with the development team to ensure their work conforms to the business requirements. As the project progresses, the BA will also support various stages of testing.

* Lead requirements gathering sessions
* Create business process flows
* Document business use cases
* Record screen configuration requirements
* Document business rules
* Support data mapping between the new and Legacy systems
* Determine various product configuration and other drop-down values
* Function as the liaison between the business users and the technical development team
* Document and execute application test cases
* Support User Acceptance testing
* Assist with training of end users
* Produce high quality documentation
* Travel 20%+ throughout the US.

Required Technical Skills:
* 3+ years documenting business requirements
* 1+ years writing use cases and process flows
* Experience with following requirements through a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
* Ability to analyze information and break down complex problems
* Experience translating requirements into application test cases
* Ability to perform independent research, utilizing team member input as necessary
* Ability to confirm objectives and drive them according to plan with a minimum oversight
* Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Preferred Technical Skills:
* Technical background
* Experience with the Guidewire ClaimsCenter application
* Experience with HP Quality Center
* Knowledge of the claims insurance domain

Required Soft Skills:
* Energetic self-starter, with desire to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
* Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities when situation requires
