Position Information:
Job Summary
Under limited supervision, code and unit test changes to complex computer programs from program specifications. Support test execution for additional levels of testing, including system level and integration tests.
Preferred Skills/Knowledge Includes
- Proven experience with Java, Oracle, Linux or Unix, Eclipse or similar IDE, Weblogic, Spring, Hibernate, ICEFaces or JSF and JDBC
- Experience with Web Services, SubVersion, Maven and Business Objects is helpful
- Good programming, testing and documentation practices
- Experience with "Use Cases" and "Test Cases"
- Good Communication, Teamwork, Organization, Time Management and Problem-Solving Skills are critical
- Proven ability to mentor and lead small teams
- XML skills a plus
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Typically has more than five (5) years work experience in Information Technology/Engineering environment.
