NEW YORK - Global Investment Bank seeks Senior Linux Systems Engineer for High Frequency Algo Team LI

Circa 90k plus bonus and benefits

This tier one investment bank is having a highly successful year and have budget for massive expansion in it s bid to be the leading provider of financial solutions. They have a huge budget for one of their NYC based high frequency algo teams and as of such are seeking a highly experienced and technical linux systems engineer to support a growing team of technologists and traders. The infrastructure team provides a platform the supports the whole bank and the infrastructure engineer will play a crucial role in building, engineering and managing the technology that underpins the whole of the banks technology.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skill;

• Considerable experience as a LINUX systems engineer
• Bash/Perl
• Tuning environments for performance for low latency
• Experience working with SAs to tune LINUX system
• Experience with 29West lbm product set would be highly preferable
• Degree in computer science or related field

This is a fantastic role for a very technical and experienced linux systems engineer to join a well renowned and respected global investment bank. It is a great opportunity to work alongside some very credible technologists and traders and the role will provide much exposure to the business.
