About the Job
The Report developer is responsible for coding and implementation to on-board new report formats and processes and services into the reporting, insights, and optimization data warehouse for the multi channel measurement system supporting one of our top clients in Redmond, WA. This role will code, review, implement, and document and follow standard process to facilitate and speed the transition of report requests from subsidiary marketing processes for the globalization of the reporting data warehouse environment. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong commitment to delivery experience, depth coding background in SQL Server Reporting Services, Excel Services and Proclarity, and will be proactive and work well in both team and individual situations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Coding in support of report processes incorporating standard development methodology and managing report onboarding using SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services, Excel Services, and Proclarity
· Providing project estimates both high level and detail level,
· Project planning and development,
· Utilization of coding standards/best practices,
· Measured on ability to meet project deadlines and on stability of code releases.
· Employment of test driven development methodologies in work.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· Strong skills in SQL Server Versions 2005 and 2008 Report Services, Excel Services, Proclarity. Some experience optimizing code.
· In depth knowledge of SQL Server query optimization techniques
· A Bachelor degree is required.
