Position Information: Preferred Skills/Knowledge Includes:
C+, SAP, Web-API and Oracle experience is a plus. Proficiency in VB or .Net; experience in face-to-face consulting with clients regarding shipping technologies; a solid understanding of logical data flow and programming experience with ODBC, screen mapping/terminal emulation, text/file and importing and exporting data is preferred.
This position will be responsible for supporting all automation products and shipping platforms within a specified territory. Will utilize business and technical consulting skills to ensure the correct automation solution is placed at each site, analyze customer business needs, implement customer solutions and provide technical product support.
Under limited supervision, serves as a central point of contact for a defined customer base to address problems or requests for information on customer automation systems, FedEx software and/or FedEx deployed technologies. Partners with other technology teams to analyze business needs, implement customer solutions and provide technical product support. Measures and analyzes problem trends and validates need for process changes to maintain optimum customer support and satisfaction. Serves as liaison between business customers and technology development.
This position will be domiciled in Mesa, AZ.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems and/or equivalent formal training or technical certification. Typically has 2 - 5 years work experience in a Computer Support/IT environment.
