Location and team
KEMA
Inc.'s Sustainable Market Strategies group in Madison, Wisconsin is
seeking an experienced Energy Analyst with experience with SAS and
other analytical tools to assist in evaluation and research associated
with energy efficiency, renewable energy and demand response programs.

Tasks may include
• Managing projects, including client interaction, developing analysis plans and leading an analytical team • Exploration, quality control and manipulation of a wide variety of energy data • Development of sampling frames and designs for surveys and other primary data collection • Statistical analysis and model building with energy and related data • PROCs include REG, GLM, LOGISTIC, LIFEREG, LIFETEST, MIXED, SURVEYMEANS, GPLOT • Transferring SAS results to other frameworks via ODS, SAS/ACCESS, DDE, or other means • Managing subcontractors and internal staff responsible for primary data collection • Preparing reports for clients covering research methodology, findings and program recommendations • Assisting and training less experienced SAS analysts in SAS and data analysis procedures
What we're asking
• Masters degree in Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Sociology or related discipline • Econometrics coursework with applied econometric experience using real world data •
Project management experience; Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to
manage time and workload effectively to complete multiple tasks and
meet deadlines; Demonstrated strong quantitative skills • Minimum of
five years SAS programming in an applied professional environment.
Coding experience in other languages may be substituted for part but
not all of this requirement • Excellent written and oral communication skills • A commitment to sustainable energy; Knowledge and experience in the energy utility industry preferred
