Our client, a major retailer, is looking for a Database Marketing Manager in their NYC offices.
Position Summary:
Primary responsibilities include performing strategic planning/ marketing/demographic analyses as needed and upon request. This includes extracting and summarizing customer sales data into coherent, actionable analyses with appropriate insight and strategic recommendations. Results and conclusions are frequently presented (written and/or orally) to upper management.
Requirements:
Quantitative undergraduate degree (statistics, econometrics, math, etc.). Graduate degree preferred in Quantitative discipline
Ability to conceptualize business issues, address them with analytics, and partner with marketing to find actionable solutions. Must be detail-oriented, have strategic/analytical/financial reasoning and judgment, oral/presentation and written communication skills
3-5 years in business analysis role in database marketing or marketing organization. Must have used advanced statistical concepts to solve business problems.
Expert skills in SAS (Base, Stat) to manipulate data, investigate data problems, build analysis data sets, produce reports and build models.
Must have experience working with large relational databases.
No relocation or visa transfers available.
Salary: $80-95k plus bonus
