Job Description
|
This position provides statistical modeling and day-to-day project management services to clients, as well as internal management of analytics staff. The position requires a seasoned analytics consultant, thorough experience with national compiled files, as well as prospect/acquisition and retention modeling.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform and manage acquisition and retention (loyalty) modeling efforts using profiling and multivariate statistical techniques to build predictive models of customer behavior.
- Manage and mentor analytics staff Prioritize work across multiple clients, develop project timelines, as well as manage timelines to achieve goals
- Â Manage expectations of both internal and external personnel Serve as lead analyst on multiple engagements
- Clearly articulate model results to technical and non-technical audiences
- Represent the analytics perspective on internal efforts relating to development and deployment of compiled list data and analytical product development
- Manage analytics vendor relationships Assists in developing client analytic strategies

Minimum Qualifications
- Quantitative background (preferred advanced degree in Statistics, Social Science Research, Economics, Quantitative Marketing)
- Strong analytical skills with solid foundation in statistical techniques. (e.g. MANOVA, multiple regression analysis, logistic regression analysis, correspondence analysis, conjoint analysis, cluster analysis, factor analysis and CHAID, etc.), or similar skills in strategic business management
- Experience in leading data analysts preferred. Working knowledge of SAS, SPSS and/or SQLExperience in conducting or managing cyberanalytics a plus.
- Direct Marketing experience.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Familiarity with retail marketing.
- Proven ability to communicate complex, technical concepts to marketing staff.
- Experience in a team environment.
