Primary Responsibilities: JOB CONTENT AND SCOPE (fundamental role)
A business process expert who uses in-depth analysis, technical skills, and/or domain expertise to create business solutions that standardize and optimize work processes and enable them through supporting technologies. This position partners closely with frontline users and managers, software engineers, operations team members, and product management to:
 Identify and understand critical business problems based on data
 Model as-is/to-be process flows, produce findings, and create guiding principles
 Document business/functional/system requirements
 Create solution prototypes
 Understand reporting requirements
 Provide content for training plans
 Ensure systems, processes and data have been tested accordingly as needed
 Ensure the proper level of support is delivered to application users and managers
Qualifications: TYPICAL DELIVERABLES
 Learn, extend and leverage Work Management Methods and Best Practices to all stakeholders within Intuit Employee Management Solutions business unit and beyond
 Maintain existing work management solutions and leverage reusable components/capabilities across functional units and end-to-end processes
 As-Is and To-Be process modeling and analysis
 Business and functional requirements documentation
 Work management system changes to fulfill requirements
 Content for training materials in accordance with change management plans (in partnership with Learning & Development) to ensure “ways of working” associated with proposed solutions are adopted and leveraged by business stakeholders
 Project plans as required for project delivery
 Effective and persuasive presentations (verbal and written) appropriate for project teams and business leaders
 Coordinate system releases with Work Management Team to include Quality Assurance, User Acceptance Testing and Release Notes
 Help with coordination of 1st level solution support for process/capabilities designated by job role and escalate support incidents as necessary

KNOWLEDGE / BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE
 Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience
 Working knowledge of business process redesign principles, tools and techniques
 Strong working knowledge of Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN)
 Strong facilitation skills when working to understand and document business processes
 Strong project management skills
 Basic understanding of software development lifecycles and systems integration projects
 Working knowledge for defining and documenting business requirements
 Working knowledge of developing business cases and associated payback models
 Working knowledge of Business Process Management and Enterprise Content Management systems preferred but not a requirement

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
 Thinks beyond normal parameters to influence the way the business works according to what’s in the box
 Capable of managing complex projects while still planning own tasks to achieve objectives
 Prioritizes own schedule to meet project dates
 Produces high volumes of quality work
 Handles multiple tasks, switches priorities and focuses as needed
 Understand technical roadmap that supports the business processes and applies it to their solution space
 Translates business objectives and customer needs into clearly written business requirements
 Synthesizes alternative viewpoints and disparate information into a cohesive document that focuses on the critical information and achieves shared vision
 Stays apprised of industry trends and best practices via available channels (conferences, newsletters, user groups, etc.) and leverages as necessary in performing job role

TECHNICAL SKILLS
 Experience working with business configurable applications
 Experience with “visual workflow” technologies is preferred, but not required
 Working knowledge of Visual Basic, Microsoft ASP and JavaScript is preferred, but not required
 Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server or relational databases is preferred, but not required
