Job Description
|
Senior SAP functional project lead specializing in design and configuration of the SAP Financials modules as a member of the Apple SAP Global IS&T Organization. The candidate has applied software development and project management methodologies in the past to implement key projects. The position involves understanding new business strategies, providing recommendations for automated solutions to support new strategies and implementing the proposed solutions within pre-determined resources, budget and timeline.
The candidate’s responsibilities include working with the business users to define scope and gather business requirements, providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of custom programs, testing and implementing the automated solutions. Requires strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentations creation/delivery and meeting facilitation and an ability to drive consensus with key constituents. The candidate must have prior SAP project leadership experience, strong organizational skills, prioritize work effectively, and coordinate multiple projects in parallel.
Minimum 2-3 years managing SAP projects with 6-8 years of SAP Financials experience. Experience with New General Ledger, COPA and FSCM are a plus. Bachelors degree in Accounting and/or past accounting work experience is preferred. Prior experience in high tech and software industries is beneficial. |
