We are currently seeking a bright, energetic, hands-on project manager for the role of Statistical Analyst or Sr. Statistician.

The person in this position will:

1. Manage all aspects of predictive modeling projects
2. Be the senior technical resource for assigned projects
3. Develop and mentor junior analysts (depending on level)
4. Provide pre and post sales technical assistance to clients


Qualifications:
Level of experience will determine the title for which candidates will be considered.

1. Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, or related field; PhD is a plus
2. Professional experience building predictive models on very large datasets
3. Thorough understanding of data reduction techniques, clustering, and GLM required; experience with neural networks and geospatial analytics a plus
4. Deep understanding of the business of insurance and insurance data; insurance professional designations that demonstrate knowledge are a plus (FCAS, ACAS, CPCU); experience applying advanced predictive analytics to develop insurance rating plans is ideal
5. Demonstrated ability to successfully mentor junior analysts
6. Ability to manage projects to deadlines
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to explain technical results to technical and non-technical audiences
